Mother's Beach

Today we kicked our visit with Grammi with a trip to Mothers Beach in Kennebunkport. It was the perfect beach day and the kids had so much fun digging in the sand and playing on their new boogie boards from Grandpa Mike. The water was freezing but no one seemed to mind:)

Basketball Hall of Fame

Funny how it takes being a tourist to visit something. I've driven by the basketball hall of fame more times than I can count. So today we decided to stop and visit. It was a good meeting place to visit the Galbraith's and the military get a great discount. I'm not sure the kids appreciated the memorabilia or new any of the players, but they enjoyed shooting some hoops on the big basketball court.

Essex Steam Train and Riverboat

Today we met up my friend Jess and had a relaxing day in Essex. We rode the train and took the boat up the Connecticut river.  We got a view of Gillette Castle and the Goodspeed Opera house, while learning the history of the area.

Bronx Zoo

Today we headed to the Bronx Zoo. It was a huge zoo with lots to see! The kids were troopers and made it through all the exhibits. Some of our favorites were the monkey, giraffes, tigers and the butterfly exhibit.

Fun at the Shore

Today we enjoyed a beach day in Milford, CT with Mum Mum and Collin. One of my favorite activities when visiting the East Coast in the Summer. The kids spent the entire time exploring and digging in the sand looking for creatures. They were able to find a few small crabs and would have brought them home if we let them.
