Camping Lake Berryessa

This weekend we took our first family camping trip. We headed to Lake Berryessa with five other families. The kids were so happy and loved running around with all their friends. We let Mackenzie use our backpacking tent as her private tent. 

We spent our days on the lake boating and our evenings by the campfire. We had so much fun, and are looking to forward to more camping with the kids.

Heading Home

Time to head back to California. Lucky for me I have 3 little travel lovers. They did amazing through the whole trip.

Lobster Brawl

A trip to the Northeast would not be complete without lobster and steamers! 

Happy 4th of July

Foggy Day at the Beach

Today was a classic foggy Maine day at the beach in Kennebunkport. It was so foggy we had to stand at the water line to see the kids playing. They didn't seem to mind much, they were just happy to be back at the beach.

Flume Gorge and Loon Mountain

Today we spent the morning hiking up the flume gorge trail to see the cascades. 

In the afternoon we took the gondola to the top of Loon Mountain for lunch and walk around to enjoy the view. The kids enjoyed climbing the tower and exploring the caves.

A Trip to Vermont

Tonight we might a quick drive over to Vermont to check another state off the kids list.

Santa's Village

Santa's Village was so much fun! We spent the morning on the rides and then when it got too hot we hit the water park. In the afternoon we went back to the rides, and got to visit the reindeer. Then it was back to the water park to cool off. Everyone loved the giant slides, even Emme my little daredevil.
