Hamilton Pool

We finally made it to the Hamilton Pool. The kids spent the entire time playing in the kiddie pool, going down the slide and playing with the water feature. It was a fun day.

Bowling with Friends

Today we were all a little jet lagged and trying to adjust back to west coast time. We decided to meet up with friends for a little free bowling and some back to school shopping. It was a fun low key day.

American Girl & Build a Bear

Today was our last day in New England and we headed to the Natick Mall to meet up with Grammi for lunch and little shopping. We ate at cheesecake factory and then headed to the American Girl store. This was Kenzie's first time in the store and she was very excited. After looking through the store Kenzie decided to get her dolls Josie ears pierced and some accessories for her American girl dog. Grammi got matching Boston shirts for Kenzie and Josie.

Our next stop was Build a Bear. Finn didn't quite understand the process at first, but once he caught on he was very excited. He picked out a camo bear and got a spiderman outfit for it. 

Rocky Neck State Park

Today we met up with the Galbraith's at Rocky neck state park for a little beach time. It has been so hot and humid this trip we thought this would be a fun not too hot outing. Well the beach was hot! We spent the entire time in the water. My California kids aren't used to going to the beach in bathing suits and actually getting in the water. They loved riding the waves and playing in the wet sand.

Mystic Aquarium

Today was Jim's last day of school in New London, so after a short stop at the academy we headed to Mystic to the aquarium. It was a hot day so everyone enjoyed checking out the air conditioned exhibits like the titanic and the jellyfish. But the favorite was the stingray touch tank. We had to visit this twice and even Emme wanted to get her hands in the water. She screeched every time a ray swam by her! Despite the heat it was a fun day with the family.
