Downtown Poulsbo

This afternoon we went to Downtown Poulsbo to check out the shops and have dinner. Then we took a  walk along the waterfront. It is a cute little town with a viking influence. The kids favorite shop was the swedish bakery!

Seattle Fun

Today we took the Bainbridge Island Ferry over to Seattle to hit all the tourist spots. We rode the ferris wheel, walked around the Public Market, went to the Space Needle and ended our day at the glass museum. A little crazy with 5 small kids, but LB and I are always up to the challenge!

Crescent City to Portland

Today was our second day of driving up 101. We spent most of the day in Coastal Oregon. It was cold and foggy but the views were spectacular. We stopped in the morning at the beach. This was by far Libby's favorite stop! The kids chased her all around and she loved running through the puddles. 

Our second stop was at the sea lion caves. We took an elevator down inside the cave and were able to see hundreds of sea lions hanging out on the rocks.

Novato to Crescent City

Today we started our trip north to Seattle. We headed up 101 with a stop in the redwoods. We drove through the avenue of the giants and took a walk through founders grove.

America's Cup part 1

Today Anne took Julia down to the city and met up with Jimmy and the boat. They went out on the bay to watch the races.

After their adventure on the bay they met up with up with us at Rolling Hills for Kenzie's stingray awards ceremony. Kenzie was so excited to get her first trophy!

Champs

This morning was Kenzie's final swim meet of the season. Champs is where every team in the Marin Swim league meet up and compete. We had to be there at 6:30 in the morning and it was freezing! Luckily our little swimmer only had to compete in 2 events and we were done by 9am. I couldn't get very close so my pictures aren't the best. I think if it K does swim team next year it will be a good excuse for a telephoto lens:)
