Emersyn is 6 weeks old and her belly button has is still oozing so today we went to the doctor. We found out that she has a granuloma inside her belly button, basically an extra piece of skin that needs to be removed. The doctor cauterized the area so that the piece of skin would fall off. Emersyn did great and was mostly upset about being held down. Mackenzie came with me and was very curious to watch the doctor. I think we may have a future medical professional on our hands. On an exciting note we weighed Emersyn and she 11lbs 13oz, that is one pound in two weeks.
