Tonight we headed "out the road". This is the road that takes you to furthest point north. The road simply ends and you can no farther. We stopped at Sunshine cove to play on the beach. The kids had buckets and shovels and enjoyed playing in the sand. Kenzie really enjoyed all the rocks. She liked them so much she stowed them in her rain coat, about 5lbs worth. While on the beach we saw a whale off in the distance. We were able see the spout and the tale several times. After being here for only a day we have already seen a deer, a porcupine, an eagle and a whale. Alaska is truly an amazing place.
