Alaska Day 4 - Zip Zip

Today's big adventure was zip lining on Douglas Island. This is something I've always wanted to try and Alaska seemed the perfect place. We left all the kids with Mum Mum and headed downtown to catch a boat over to Douglas. Then we took a land cruiser to a hut in the woods to get suited up and receive safety instructions. Then it was off to the zip lines. The first run was a practice baby run. I was really nervous, but once I did a run it just became fun. Our group was very entertaining and we kept our guides laughing. The word of the day was "chip chop"! We did a total of 10 zip lines and 2 aerial bridges. What a great experience! After a little lunch at the Hangar, the boys took Mum Mum to the brewery to sample the local beer.
