Today was day 2 of our road trip. We spent the morning heading inland along the scenic byway of 199 known as the Redwood Highway. The kids were mostly plugged in watching a movie, but Jim and I enjoyed driving through more "big trees" along the winding road. We stopped for lunch at a park and played on the playscape for a while. Then we headed north to our hotel. It was Tuesday so we decided on Mexican for dinner. Everyone in our house gets excited about "Taco Tuesday". Then it was back to the hotel for some swimming. A mostly uneventful day, but still really fun just spending time as a family.
